Lurking Giants Map Voting

Map voting is a planned Lurking Giants feature that lets lobbies choose between Forest, City, and future maps before each round. The Roblox store added a 2x Voting Power gamepass in late June 2026 — confirming vote UI is in development even though full voting is not live in the current build. Evidence Map Voting Is Coming

ULTRA works listed 2x Voting Power alongside 2x Giant Chance in the Roblox store during the July 2026 rework wave. A voting-power gamepass only makes sense if lobby map votes exist. Expected Vote Flow

During intermission — the lobby wait before night falls — players likely select Forest, City, or a future third map. Each player contributes one vote; 2x Voting Power owners contribute two. Majority map loads for the next round. Until the UI ships, maps rotate automatically as today.

Map Pick Strategy

Survivor mains should vote City — towers, tunnels, and vertical cover favor survival per the maps tier list. Giant mains should vote Forest — open sightlines convert pulse highlights to kills. Mixed friend groups can negotiate votes before queueing. Strategy guides: survivor and giant.

Third Map Expectations

Community footage and developer statements tease a third map in wave two alongside Verity and survivor perks. Backrooms-style layouts are popular Discord requests but not officially confirmed.
